Yoga, Reiki, Healing (Energy Therapy), Guided Imagery
Everything in this world is made up of energy, this includes us. Like the air we breathe, energy cannot be easily seen. Your body's energy is as vital to your health and well-being as the air you breath. When your energy flow is imbalanced or depleted, you are more susceptible to illness and potential injury. When your energy flow is restored and balanced, you are more likely to feel relaxed and your body’s natural healing abilities are utilized. Reiki, Yoga, Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster, and Hypnosis are just a few of the techniques you can use to help facilitate a balance of your energy flow which can support your comfort and wellness.

Yoga is often associated with just stretching. Stretching is certainly involved, however yoga is really about creating balance in the body by developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of postures, also called Asanas. In classes we will use the physical movement of Yoga to strengthen, support, and unite all aspects of how we feel: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Attention to the breath which also promotes a sense of balance and awareness. Beginners Yoga, All-Levels Yoga, Yoga for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, and Yin Yoga classes are available. Private yoga classes and sessions are available also.
Reiki uses a gentle hands-on, or even hands-off, technique to balance the energy in the body. When your energy is depleted or imbalanced, you may be more likely to experience and illness or injury. Reiki classes and reiki sessions are offered.
Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster. developed by Peggy Huddleston, teaches five steps to prepare for surgery. Learning how to use this program will help you to feel profoundly peaceful in the days before and very often after your operation.
Hypnosis is often described as a meditative or trancelike state of heightened awareness or suggestibility. The person under hypnosis is not asleep. A trance in hypnosis is a state of complete mental absorption. This is very similar to the experience when one is very focused, really concentrating or in a daydream. When you focus on something, you strengthen your awareness of it. Hypnosis focuses on and increases a person’s strength with the goal of wellness.
