Yoga is often associated with just stretching. Stretching is certainly involved, however yoga is really about creating balance in the body by developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of postures, also called Asanas. In classes we will use the physical movement of Yoga to strengthen, support, and unite all aspects of how we feel: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Attention to the breath which also promotes a sense of balance and awareness. Beginners Yoga, All-Levels Yoga, Yoga for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, and Yin Yoga classes are available. Private classes/sessions are available also.
Uses a gentle hands-on, or even hands-off, technique to balance the energy in the body. When your energy is depleted or imbalanced, you may be more likely to experience and illness or injury. Classes and sessions are offered.
