Reiki, Energy Therapy, Guided Imagery, Prepare for Surgery, and Lessen the Side Effects of Chemotherapy/Radiation Treatment are all Mind-Body techniques that support our wellness and balance. They are techniques you can learn to do on your own as well as to receive sessions from a practitioner.
Reiki is a gentle hands-on, or even hands-off, technique that balances the energy in the body. When your energy is depleted or imbalanced, you may be more likely to experience and illness or injury. Both classes and sessions are offered. See links on the side for more details about each.
Guided Imagery is a technique that uses your mind to help you create a positive or different experience. It is a powerful way to help the Mind and Body work together for your wellness and balance.
Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster© teaches a technique developed by Peggy Huddleston. It teaches five steps that help to create a more positive approach surgery and will help you to be more relaxed which can lessen the experience of pain, nausea, and often times help recovery to happen much more quickly. Lessen the Side Effects of Chemotherapy / Radiation treatment: This technique was also developed Peggy Huddleston. It helps one who is going through these cancer therapy treatments to approach it more relaxed and in a positive way, which supports the Mind / Body connection for wellness.
