Yoga, Reiki, Energy Therapy, Guided Imagery - are all Mind-Body techniques that support our wellness and balance. They are techniques you can learn to do on your own as well as to receive sessions from a practitioner.
Yoga -
The word Yoga means to unite. In these classes we will use the physical movement of Yoga and the breath to strengthen, support, and unite all aspects of how we feel: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Reiki and Energy Therapy - use a gentle hands-on, or even hands-off, technique to balance the energy in the body. When you energy is depleted or imbalanced, you may be more likely to experience and illness or injury. Classes and sessions are offered. See links on the side for more details about each.
Guided Imagery - is a technique that uses your mind to create a positive experience. It is a powerful way to help the Mind and Body work together for your wellness and balance. This includes programs used for specific issues such a surgery ( Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster©) or effects of cancer therapys (Lessen the Side Effects of Chemotherapy / Radiation treatment©).

Reiki and Energy Therapy are not substitutes for conventional
medical care. These are techniques used in conjunction with any
medical care that is deemed appropriate by you and/or your physician.
The word healing is frequently used in
Energy Therapy and other therapies like it. It is used in the context
of restoring the body to wholeness. This wholeness is from a holistic
point of view – where the whole is relating to the body, mind,
spirit, and emotion. Energy Therapy brings a balance to the body,
mind, spirit, and emotion. This can encourage an improvement in
symptoms, decrease discomfort, encourage relaxation, support one’s
feeling of greater sense of self.
The word healing is meant as to describe
the balance that occurs in the body that can restore a person to
some sense of wholeness.
